I’ve always loved the idea of having a home office, for me it’s goes hand in hand with my dream of working from home and writing. Granted I’m not at that stage yet but having your own little office space is still a must, it’s a place to help focus and inspire you and let your creative juices run wild. It should be a very personal space that reflects your individuality and interests. I’ve actually been creating my own little office space over the last month as I was yet to create one in this house, so I thought in today’s post I’d share with you some inspirational office spaces that I’ve been loving recently…
Anna’s office over at Vivianna Does Makeup is completely swoon-worthy. It’s gorgeous colour palette of greens, greys, black and gold and enviable rustic well-made furniture piece together perfectly with beautiful finishing touches, creating a very calm aura within the room. Truthfully, Anna’s the one who completely influenced my need to create an office space in this house and although mine isn’t necessarily a dedicated office room with it being resided in the guest bedroom instead, Anna’s definitely upped my office goals for our next house.
You can’t go wrong with a bit of monochrome and this gorgeous office from Nina from Stylizimo is no exception. I love it’s moody but chic appearance and isn’t that chalkboard paint calendar on the wall genius!? It’s definite organisational inspiration! Nina’s office is simple and clean but effective and I’m a big fan of the subtle touches of light pink to break up the monochrome look.
This office room by Megan from Style Girlfriend screams at my creativity and I adore the dark blue wall against the other pops of colour, especially the bright pink. I also can’t get enough of the busy wall with essential bits and bobs including pens, a pin board and magazines all ready to be grabbed and put to work as quick as a flash. The desk itself is right up my street too with it’s beautiful wooden rustic top and hairpin legs, I just love it!
My dream office would be a combination between all three of these with additional themes thrown into the mix too. What would your dream office look like? And if you already love your office, tell me about it!?
